Club Konichiwa is a Japanese Cultural and language club where gaigen in Nagano can go to learn Japanese and about the culture.
This week we tried proper green tea made from powder and calligraphy. Green tea was a bit bitter but nice....the calligraphy was very difficult!
I am hoping that it was due to the torential downpour of rain that not many people turned up and that there will be more attendees to mingle with next week.
I am hoping to use the group to practice Japanese (I started private lessons on Tuesdays!) and to try out new things.
One of the teachers is a marathon runner......so watch this space!
