NHK Figure Skating

On Saturday I met Ikuko at Big Hat in Nagano to watch the NHK championship figure skating. I wasn't overly excited before I got there but it was amazing! The skaters are so strong especially the pair dancers....was v.impressed.

This girl came first for Japan.....Japan also bagged 2nd and 3rd! Must be there forte


After the skating I went into Nagano to meet the latest edition to our gang....James, Kat's boyfriend has come to Japan for 3 months...we have all been waiting in anticipation to meet him for ages! Very nice chap and also went to university in Leicester when I was there (as did Kat) but we didn't know each other. James is also into snowboarding so I'm hoping he will be getting the lovely Kat up the mountain with me on a regular basis!
