Thursday 11th January - Lily Allen in Tokyo

After work on Thursday I caught the shink to Tokyo to go and see Lily Allen with Kiren. The gig was at Club Quattro in Shibuya - it was the perfect venue for her as it was really intimate and we were standing really close to the stage. Lily was brilliant - such a good voice, but looks a lot older than 21 in the flesh.
The gig finished surprisingly early so me and Kiren headed to the combini to get loaded up with chi hi whilst trying to find somewhere else to go. A failed attempt saw me catching the last shink back to Nagano (apparently Tokyo hasn't got much going on in the way of clubs on a Thursday!) but it was probably the best idea anyway as
my alternative was to catch 40winks in an internet cafe before coming back in the morning and straight to work!
