Never again......until next week!

I have been in Japan, Nagano, for almost 5 months now and not until last Saturday had I experienced a night out in my own city. In order to correct this I went out 'on the town' the last two Saturdays in a row.

Episode 1
Last Saturday I met Bel, English Matt and Atsuko at Belinda's for pre-drinks and then headed into Nagano having consumed Kahlua, vodka and plum wine...nice mix!
First stop was Doma Doma where Kiren and Mary also joined us for a bit of food and lots of cocktails....oh and neat sake...I think you can see where this is going - a very very blurry place.
Making our way to High Five we stumbled upon Parle....I invoke the right to parle....Pirates of the Caribbean theme bar! They have the theme music playing on repeat and the bar man was dressed as a pirate, and gave us pirates gold....well the prices of the drinks I wanted some rubies too!


By this point we were ready to dance and went to High Five, where I danced for 5 hours straight until 4am and it was time to go....I was dancing pretty much on my own for most of it bar the random Japanese guys who kept taking naps in the corner - not sure what that was about!

Leaving the club we/I remembered that Doma Doma is open till 5 so we tried to go back in and for some unknown reason they wouldn't let us back in....soba noodles on the steps and a taxi back to Bel's and the night was pretty much over....I missed a few details out but lets just say I there are a few places I probably shouldn't go to for a while!

Episode 2
This Saturday, me Kiren, Atsuko, Rich and his pal from Ueda went out.....again started at about 6pm and went to Izakaya for dinner....then to a Russian bar - was very cool and had good DJ...And then to High Five....High Five was pretty busy this time and again danced pretty much the whole night....got kicked out at 4am and went to another club, Fame, got home at about 7am and woke up mid day with Atsuko, Rich and a complete stranger in my apartment....not bad eh!
Turns out that he is called Ben and is working in Ida, he was visiting his friend in Nagano and somewhere along the line we accosted him and brought him home!

So, yeah, had pretty eventful couple of weekends in Nagano and maybe need to give it a rest for a while....well at least until the weekend!
