Christmas Day in Japan!

Christmas Eve Kat, James, Matt and me all stayed over at Belinda's house in order to wake up together on Christmas day. The day started with Champagne breakfast and present opening. With that out the way we headed into Nagano on the train (donning glasses, tinsel and feeling a bit merry) where we had a massage and a few hours of karaoke....After tearing Kat away it was time to go home and get the cooking started for the dinner that night.
Kat and me were feeling too festive to sit down and cook but managed to produce some kind of dish (no really traditional food - cous cous?!) before everyone arrived. Nick, Kiren, Alex and Rich (who added more traditional fare in the way of stuffing and gravy!) joined us for dinner and a night of entertainment provided by Kat and myself in the form of charades!

Although it was hard being away from my friends and family at Christmas we managed to pack enough activities and champagne into the day so as to keep ourselves happy!
