Tuesday is lunch day!

Tuesday is often the day that I head into town on my lunch break with Ikuko. Over the last 6 months we have been to sooo many nice places to eat in Nagano that if it wasn't for this weekly outing I would never have discovered. One of my favourite places to eat is Tofu Cafe near Zenkoji temple. The main feature is tofu but not the bland tofu that people are usually familiar with. At the cafe you can have a set lunch with different kinds of tofu and a self serve tofu bar, you can get anintofu which is a jello like dessert with fruit and soya fruit smoothies.

Well today is Tuesday so to stay true to tradition I will be popping out for a bite to eat. Today's menu I think will be soba crepes with prawn and avocado - if there is one thing Japan does really well, its food!!!
