A walk into town and okinomiyaki

Thursday was the welcome ceremony at Nishi for the new first years. I decided to let Inga and Ronnie off with sitting through another ceremony. The ceremony was really nice however, the brass band club played the school song and ended with Disney's 'Under the Sea' for the new students and their parents. Of course there was lots of speeches in between.

Inga and Ronnie spent the day in Nagano city exploring the department stores. They made their way there on foot from my apartment which is 1hr 20m away....and back again....gambatte!
No you deny eat this yan raw....you coowk it ye sen!

That night it was time to sample more Japanese food. This time it was a less offensive okinomiyaki - a savoury pancake with meat and vegetable fillings that you make yourself at the table.
Ronnie cooks the noodles whilst Inga takes care of the Okinomiyaki
